The newly retired Jason Kelce surely is having the time of his life attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London. Since his brother Travis Kelce started dating the global pop icon, Jason has also become famous among the Swifties, which came as quite a surprising realization to him. 

The former Philadelphia Eagles center came across one such Swiftie outside the pop superstar’s concert in London, where a young man was wearing Jason’s green No. 62 jersey. The legendary center, who is known for his wholesome personality outside the football field, approached the young fan and gave him a lifetime memory by surprising him with a wholesome gesture. 

Jason’s wife, Kylie recorded her husband’s kind act towards a fan and shared it on social media, which was later reposted by the NFL’s official X handle.  

Jason surprised the young fan by sneaking behind him and then, handed over a guitar pick to him before shaking hands and clicking pictures together. The young Eagles fan was in utter shock by the kind gesture of Jason, to which the former NFL player kept smiling. 

Such gestures are the epitome of Jason’s character, as he never fails to win the hearts of his fans and is also considered a fan favorite. 

Jason Kelce sees surge in young female fans thanks to Taylor Swift 

In his 13-year career playing in the NFL, Jason has built a huge fanbase, but he witnessed a surge in his fan base since last year– when his brother started dating the 14-time Grammy winner. The seven-time Pro Bowler admitted himself, during one of the episodes of the New Heights podcast. 

Jason admitted that he was often spotted by teenage girls around the age of 12 or 14 years. And they freak out saying, “Oh my God! You’re the brother of Travis dating Taylor Swift.” 

The former Eagles’ fanbase also witnessed a variety, as earlier it was mostly as he admitted “football guys. Fat, hairy guys.” But since the “Taylor Swift effect” which benefitted the entire NFL as well as the Chiefs, he has found recognition among an entirely new demographic.
