VALORANT 4.05 UPDATE: Patch Notes Inside BRIMSTONE Nerfed!
Brimstone mains aren’t happy with the new Valorant 4.05 update because it nerfs the Controller, who was lately ruling the meta with his enhanced Sky Smokes and Stim Beacons.
The 4.05 patch disables his ability to deploy numerous Stim Beacons while tripling the cost and maintaining the Beacon’s overall efficacy. “Having two stims lowered the necessity of deploying it at the appropriate moment,” according to a Riot blog post.

Brimstone is Nerfed in Valorant!
Along with the Brimstone nerfs, Valorant patch 4.05 introduces a slew of other improvements to the shooter, such as the option to import and export alternative crosshair settings via auto-generated codes, tweaks to the ‘Prioritize Strongest Weapon’ setting, bug fixes, and more.
Some issue fixes for the newly rebuilt map Icebox have also been implemented, however they have yet to reach the live servers. These modifications will most likely be implemented in a future version.
The Deterministic Map System was implemented across all areas in patch 4.05, which is a significant development.
This experimental system was previously only available on LATAM servers. The Deterministic Map System employs a series of principles to broaden the scope of maps available to participants in competitive games.
