Flex Your Characters with New Profile Feature
Although you can mostly play Genshin Impact by yourself, the Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater are meant for solo play. However, the game also includes a multiplayer feature. Players can join forces to defeat weekly bosses, trade character materials, and assist each other with many treasure puzzles.
Because of the way Genshin Impact works with its random item system, many players like to show off their favorite characters and achievements. Right now, the profile system lets players pick an avatar, a banner, and highlight up to eight characters that others can look at closely. This gives a lot of room for personalizing profiles. However, with more characters being added in Version 5.0 like Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina, the roster keeps expanding.
Genshin Impact players can display up to 12 characters on their profiles.
In Version 5.0, the player profile is getting a major update to display up to twelve characters. This news came from a leak posted by ukrisreng on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, revealing the redesigned user interface. While the overall layout of the profile remains similar, having four additional character slots is significant for longtime players with many rare 5-Star characters. Additionally, the updated profile will now show the Constellations of characters that players choose to highlight, whether to boast about their achievements or, in the case of some frequently seen characters from the Standard Banner, to share their frustrations.
Fontaine started a series of significant quality-of-life improvements for Genshin Impact, and it looks like the Natlan era will keep this trend going. With features like a higher resin cap, the option to select Artifact attributes, and the removal of world boss timers, Genshin Impact 5.0 will be quite different from Version 4.0.
As players look forward to exploring Snezhnaya and Khaenri'ah after the volcanic landscapes of Natlan, it's clear that Genshin Impact is nearing the conclusion of its Teyvat chapter with strong momentum. Many of the updates introduced in 2024 have not only enhanced player convenience but also aimed to ensure the game's longevity. Despite some mixed reactions to the Chronicled Banner's attempt to streamline character availability, the revamped profiles appear well-prepared for future regions to come.
