When you talk about professional sports relationship drama, this is one of the couples you mention. Dustin Johnson’s girlfriend Paulina Gretzky is madly in love with him, despite his turbulent times. That word “turbulent” is media-speak for generally just having way too much fun. Honestly, I look up to Dustin Johnson. The guy’s the man. He’s an amazing golfer, he’s got lots of money, and women throw themselves at him. The press loves to browbeat this guy. I am not about that at all. On the contrary, Dustin’s living an extraordinary life! It may be true that it involves a lot of pain and poor choices, but it’s certainly an adventure. Let’s get into things…

Past life

First off, Dustin previously dated a fine lady by the name of Natalie Gulbis. She’s a pro golfer, and she’s hot. Natalie told the media they were “together,” and almost right after that Dustin said they weren’t dating at all and the whole thing ended. Now, a little while before the Gulbis get-together, Dustin tested positive for marijuana. He’s, in fact, failed three drugs tests in his time on tour, the first unsurprisingly for marijuana, being the effigy of an overaged frat boy. However, in 2012 and 2014 Johnson twice failed tests, rather more seriously, for cocaine. Whether his addiction was the intoxicating fuel behind his vigorous swing remains unknown, however, it did result in Johnson taking an enforced six-month leave of absence from the tour, disguised as a need to resolve personal matters.

However, it wasn’t the only factor in Johnson’s then unceremonious demise from prodigy to profligate. Robert Lusetich exposed the lanky lothario’s otherwise repugnant nature when he revealed that the player was known to have slept with at least two of his tour peers wives. One, now commonly known to be with the now ex-wife of tour member Will MacKenzie. A tremendous scandal that was sacredly kept under wraps by those within golf’s tight-lipped society.

Things got turned around pretty damn correctly however.

Flash-forward a little to Dustin Johnson’s girlfriend Paulina Gretzky. She’s a Millennial born in 1988. Paulina has three brothers and a sister. She describes herself as “highly competitive” just like her father. I actually think Dustin sort of looks like her Dad. She’s been a singer and a model. She’s insanely hot, as you can see.

So the couple met back in 2012 and dated for a year before they got engaged. Incidentally, 2012 is the year Dustin was busted by the PGA for additional drug testing violations. But, things turned around shortly thereafter.  In August 2013, Johnson dropped to one knee and proposed.  Paulina Gretzky went from Dustin Johnson’s girlfriend to Dustin Johnson’s fiancee in one simple question.

Now many would assume she’d shortly thereafter carry the title of Dustin Johnson’s wife. But, here we are eight full years later and there’s been no wedding to have happened.  These two are definitely committed though.  They have two kids, Tatum Gretzky Johnson, born January 19, 2015,, and River Jones Johnson born June 12, 2017.
