Dricus Du Plessis puzzled after Israel Adesanyas NSFW post aheadofUFC305
Israel Adesanya recently made some derogatory remarks about Dricus Du Plessis. Adesanya’s escalating hate towards Du Plessis has been buzzing all over the community. Many already consider it the most heated rivalry of Adesanya’s career. Meanwhile, DDP has finally replied to the Nigerian-born Kiwi fighter’s recent NSFW post.
The build-up to the UFC 305 event has been a path full of bad blood and confrontations between the fighters. Israel Adesanya and Dricus du Plessis stand at the top of that list of confrontations. Izzy’s recent derogatory post was just another shot he took at the middleweight champion. However, DDP soon replied to Adesanya. The middleweight champion was puzzled about Izzy’s post.
Israel (Adesanya), stop searching for my willy on the internet. It's weird, it's very freaking weird man. Cmon!Dricus du Plessis via MMA Fighting
Per DDP, Izzy should focus on better things before their fight. It was just another verbal shot that both these fighters have been exchanging for a couple of times now. Coming to some fight stats, at UFC 297, DDP became the first UFC champion from South Africa.
Interestingly, he made several remarks about being the only ‘African champion.’ Interestingly, this statement did not comply with Adesanya, as he fumed with wrath, igniting a rivalry against the new middleweight champ. Per Izzy, Dricus Du Plessis does not have the right to discredit the other African champions.
Even fellow UFC middleweight fighter Abdul Razzak Alhassan shared similar views against DDP. Although the South African sparked much controversy and hate with his remarks, he still reigns as one of the top middleweight fighters. On the other hand, Adesanya’s journey is also something to discuss, as he defeated almost everyone in the division. As such, DDP remains one of the final puzzles.
UFC bantamweight champion predicts the Dricus Du Plessis vs. Israel Adesanya fight
Dricus Du Plessis is currently on a commendable win streak in the UFC. In that win streak, he defeated formidable opponents like Sean Strickland and Robert Whittaker. However, DDP still had to face the once middleweight king Israel Adesanya. Before the South African fighter, Izzy reigned as the undisputed middleweight champ. However, his defeat against Strickland made a pause in his career.
With that loss, Adesanya took a break from fighting. Now, he is set for his comeback against DDP to capture the UFC gold with better preparations. As the fight week approaches several fighters have started to give their predictions, including Sean O’Malley. In a recent episode of the Timbo Sugar Show, the UFC bantamweight king gave his prediction.
Israel Adesanya just had an insane amount of fights in an insane short amount of time. So yeah he had a good long break. This is probably the longest he has not fought in a while... He (DDP) is cool, seems like a good dude... I think Izzy will probably beat him.Sean O’Malley via Timbo Sugar Show #298
O’Malley also revealed he has looked up to Adesanya, in terms of the way he stayed active in his career. Not only ‘Suga,’ but several other fighters also shared their predictions. Now, it remains to be seen who comes out victorious this coming weekend.
