Did a Boise man win survivor? The tribe has spoken...
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Ben Driebergen was the Sole Survivor of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
He was then asked back to Survivor: Winners at War, the 40th season of survivor. The show invited 20 of the previous winners to commemorate its long tenure on television.
Driebergen is from Boise and although some say his first win was suspicious (easy-to-find idols and a suspiciously-timed twist), he has found his way back to the finals. And, he was predicted to make it to at least the final three again.
The winner was announced Wednesday night... and no, Driebergen did not end up winning. But, he made it further than most.
“It has been a humbling and fantastic learning experience for me!”
And since everyone that competed this season was a previous sole survivor,Tony Vlachos is the only winner to never get their torch snuffed. Yes, Tony won season 40; survivor of survivors.
Many fans took to twitter in disbelief thatMichele Fitzgerald didn't get a single vote in the finale.
